About HyLytes

HyLytes are NSF “Certified for Sport”

What does that mean?  It means HyLytes are legal and safe.

The NSF “Certified for Sport" certification means that HyLytes have been tested for banned substances and are certified CLEAN.  With the NSF “Certified for Sport" accreditation you can trust the label and use HyLytes with confidence and know what you are taking is clean and safe.  Without the NSF “Certified for Sport” mark you never know for sure what is really in your supplement.

Who is NSF International (“NSF”)?

NSF is an independent non-profit organization that tests supplements.  NSF helps protect you by testing and certifying worthy products and writing standards for dietary supplements, food, water and consumer goods.

What is “Certified for Sport”?

Also known as the Athletic Banned Substances Program, this program tests nutritional supplements for banned substances. This program was developed to meet the growing demand of athletes, coaches and everyone concerned about banned substances in sports.

What is the purpose of the program?  To PROTECT athletes!

“Certified for Sport” certifies that participating manufacturers and their products have met NSF’s stringent independent certification process guidelines, including:

  • Product testing for banned substances and label content confirmation;
  • Formulation  and label review;
  • Production facility and supplier inspections; and
  • Ongoing monitoring

Which banned substances does NSF evaluate specifically?

NSF tests for banned substances recognized by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the NFL, MLB, and the PGA and LPGA Tours. These include stimulants, narcotics, steroids, diuretics, masking agents, and other substances.

Why is third-party certification important?

Third-party certification reduces risk of fraud and eliminates bias from testing. NSF is the only third-party testing organization to conduct a complete evaluation of EVERY ASPECT of a product’s production before it can earn the NSF certification.
